Jeep India today launched the 2023 Compass in a 4X2 variant in the Indian market. The 2023 Jeep Compass range now starts from Rs 20.49 lakh and the Automatic range to start from Rs 23.99 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The entry-level Jeep Compass price has now been reduced by nearly Rs 1 lakh, while the revised Jeep lineup makes the AT on Compass more affordable by 20% (almost 6 lakhs)!
The company has also unveiled the new Jeep Meridian Overland Edition SUV with new alloy wheels, an updated grille pattern, body-coloured bumpers and new upholstery inside. Prices for the new Jeep Meridian Overland Edition will be announced later.
2023 Jeep Compass 4X2: Exterior
The 2023 Jeep Compass 4X2 will be equipped with a new glossy-black grille, glossy-black 18-inch alloy wheels, front LED reflector headlamps and LED tail-lamps as standard, LED fog lamps and LED projector headlamps on the Model S. The 2023 Jeep Compass Black Shark Edition gets body-color
painted roof and lower cladding, 18-inch aluminum black-gloss painted wheels, black leatherette seats, unique ignite red highlights and BlackShark badging on fenders.
2023 Jeep Compass 4X2: Interior
Inside the cabin, the 2023 Jeep Compass 4×2 is equipped with a 10.1-inch next-generation Uconnect 5 digital infotainment system with operating speeds that are five times faster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 10.25-inch frameless fully-coloured digital TFT gauge cluster, and wireless charging pad.
2023 Jeep Compass 4X2: Engine specifications
Under the hood, the Jeep Compass 4X2 is powered by a 2.0-litre direct injection turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, producing 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The first in its segment nine-speed automatic transmission offers seamless Gear Shifts and best-in-class fuel economy, claims Jeep India.

Safety suite of the 2023 Jeep Compass 4X2 include four channel Anti lock Braking System(ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution(EBD), four channel Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Advanced Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist and all-speed traction control, rear seat reminder alert and Rain Brake Assist is standard on all trims.
