The apex court said Sisodia must move the trial court or the Delhi high court for the reliefs he was seeking from it.
Following the Supreme Court’s order, the deputy chief minister withdrew his petition.
“Policy decisions were taken at different rung and no money was recovered,” lawyer A M Singhvi told the court on behalf of Sisodia.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to approach the high court in the matter.
After nearly eight hours of questioning, Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday in connection with the excise policy scam case as he “gave evasive replies and did not cooperate in the investigation despite being confronted with evidence to the contrary”.
