
Two labourers were killed and three others were injured after a wall collapsed during construction of a new one in Dombivli in Maharashtra’s Thane district. The injured are being taken to a hospital. Further details are awaited.
In view of safety concerns following the multiple incidents of technical glitches, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Wednesday extended restrictions on SpiceJet. The airline is only allowed to operate at 50 per cent of departures till 29 October. However, the DGCA noted that there is an appreciable reduction in the number of safety incidents.

Comedian Raju Srivastava passed away in Delhi at the age of 58, news agency ANI quoted his family as saying. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after experiencing chest pain and collapsing while working out at the gym.
