The C3 Aircross was recently spied testing on Indian roads and now the company has been spotted testing the car on international soil. Since the car was extensively covered it’s hard to tell its design cues but C3 Aircross is larger than the C3 hatchback. The car will be built on the same CMP platform which underpins the C3 hatchback. The C3 Aircross is expected to measure over 4.2 meters in length and could get a 5 and 7-seater layout.

Talking about the design, the camouflaged car looks similar to the C3 hatchback but with extra length and bigger rear door and a new glass area between B and C pillars. The car is also expected to get a newly designed bumper with re-designed headlamps and tail lamps. The car will also get higher ground clearance with 16-inch alloy wheels.
Moving on to the interior, the C3 hatchback is expected to get the same dashboard layout as the C3 hatch. However, the car might get more features with different upholstery.

Talking about the engine and gearbox, the C3 Aircross is expected to get a petrol-only powertrain. It is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cyl, petrol engine with 110 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. It might also get a 1.2-litre, 3-cyl, NA petrol engine with 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm torque. Gearbox options might include a 6-speed manual for turbo petrol and a 5-speed manual for the NA engine. It is also expected that Citroen might introduce an automatic gearbox.
