
NASHIK: The Nashik city police arrested three robbers within an hour after a person registered a complaint of robbery with the Indiranagar police station.
The Indiranagar police said that on Sunday at around 3.45pm, a goods carrier driver was driving his mini-truck from Pathardi village circle to Wadner Road, when three persons riding a scooter intercepted the mini truck and took up an argument for no reason.
The trio then roughed up the truck driver and snatched cash of Rs 10,000 from him and also took away his cellphone.
After the incident, the complainant visited the Indiranagar police station on Monday at around 8.30 pm about the burglary.
The Indiranagar police plunged into action and arrested the trio from Nashik City.
Those arrested are identified as Dilip Pradhan (35), Rajesh Jawale (24) and Mohit kale (26) all residents of Pathardi village.
The arrests were made as per the guidance of CP Ankush Shinde, said the police.
